Within the period of January – March of 2017 Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 2,8 pct. to 10,30 mln tn, i.e. more by 282,1 thou. tn comparing with the corresponding period of 2016. It is the best quarter cargo handling result achieved within the period of the entire history of Klaipeda Seaport. The previous result was achieved in the IV-th quarter of 2016 – 10,22 mln tn of cargo were handled in the Seaport.
Year-on-year changes of overall turnover according to cargo types:

Liquid cargo – 2 682,0 thou. tn were handled, -16,6 pct. or -534,5 thou. tn yoy;
-
General cargo – 2 980,8 thou. tn were handled, -2,1 pct. or -64,8 thou. tn yoy;
- Dry and bulk cargo – 4 640,1 thou. tn were handled, +23,4 pct. or +881,4. tn yoy.
